Increasing social diversity is driving a quest to explore the potential for dialogue in art and design. This comprehensive exhibition aims to examine in depth the potential for designing a dialogue focused on examining the relationship of medical care settings to art and design. It showcases an art project in Sweden – a pioneer in the field of hospital art – that came to a close this spring (an art project by Miwa Akabane that arose from the refurbishment of the emergency ward at Stockholm’s St. Göran Hospital), as well as featuring a talk session and workshop with artists and designers involved in creative activities centered on communication.
【Hospital with Design Executive Committee】
Executive committee established to organize this exhibition. It aims to promote deeper partnerships between artists and designers involved in creative activities centered on communication and the places that need such communication (companies, public facilities and spaces, and medical facilities).
