Having caught the eye of Australian producer and theater impresario Shakti when it garnered rave reviews at the Avignon Festival in France in 2013, The SHOW was performed at the Adelaide Fringe, a huge arts festival that attracts audiences and directors from across the globe. Blending contemporary Japanese pop culture with Japan’s unique theatrical traditions, this is a work of stage art that provides an accessible insight into the richness and infinite potential of Japanese culture. Performing arts also provide opportunities for international cultural exchange with overseas audiences and artists participating in arts festivals.
