Profile

Jyuuryoku/Note
A theatre company in Asakusabashi, Tokyo and it is formed mainly by its director, Nobusuke Kashima in 2010. They use pre-existing texts; but rather than presenting the story, they combine the nuance and sounds of the words, as well as the ideology of the author, into a new work via a collaborative process. In recent years they have adapted Elfriede Jelinek Wolken.Heim (F/T12 Emerging Artists Program), as well as Occupation : Shuji Terayama (1935-1983 / 1993-2012) and Lisbon@Pessoa.
