to R mansion, cultivating its physical performance and emotion in front of wide variety of audience in Tokyo, will be performing a condensed piece of Japanese pop culture including fashion and music at the Festival d’Avignon, one of the world’s three great dramatic festivals. Every year at the Festival d’Avignon, performers, promoters, critics, and viewers swarm to the city of Avignon, almost doubling its 90,000-strong population. This year, they’ll be performing the show-style stage piece THE SHOW, and the story-focused Magical Mystery Tour.
Their goal in performing two different plays is to show the appeal of to R mansion to a wider audience, and expand their network of artistic contacts to include performers of various types from other cultures.
