Outline

This is a music festival based on Jazz crossing with World Music, Pops and other various genre, which cultivates a new possibility of Jazz. Not only musicians who are active in Japan, but also top class musicians from abroad will appear, that aims for a exchange and transmission of music culture. In evening, at the grand hall, Yosuke Yamashita (Piano-duo), Antonio Zambujo (Fado & Bossa Nova from Portugal), and Kazumi Nikaido & Gentle Forest Jazz Band (Swing Vocal & Big Band) will perform. In afternoon, at the small hall, there are acoustic music concerts by Choro Club (Brazilian acoustic music), Ai Kuwabara (Piano), Kunikazu Tanaka + Yoshiaki Sato (Sax & Accordion), Tetsuro Kawashima (Sax), Mini Penguin Café (Salon music from UK). MCs are 2 critics, Yo Nakagawa and Jin Nakahara.

【 Plankton Co., Ltd. 】
A concert promoter which has been introducing world music and culture for more than 30 years since established in 1984. It has introduced Irish/Celtic. Gypsy, African, and other various kind of music, and also made a lot of cultural exchanging program. Plankton Co., Ltd. was in charge of planning and production of Arts Council Tokyo’s Traditional Arts Promotion Performances, Celtic Noh “The Hawk Princess (At the Hawk’s Well)” in February in 2017.
