Senior theater troupe Kanjuku-za, whose members are all 60 or over, performs a play on the theme of agriculture. Junior high schooler Minori is upset by the discord between her parents. For summer vacation, she goes to stay on the farm where her uncle and grandmother live. What she finds there is a tomato field fallen into decay, and a grandmother suffering from dementia.

Ema Kujira
Playwright/director/actor/producer Ema Kujira was born in 1973. She started the senior theater troupe Kanjuku-za in 2006. In 2012 she founded NPO Senior Theater Network, which holds the biannual National Senior Theater Competition. She is also energetically engaged in activities promoting barrier-free theaters.
