Profile

【Point de Vue】
Point de Vue is a concert series of contemporary music produced by the composers Teruaki Suzuki and Tomohiro Moriyama. Performances have been held regularly since 2007, presenting new works by contemporary composers in collaboration with up-and-coming musicians. The series is designed as an arena for the composers to find a mutual viewpoint (Point de Vue) rooted in their own musical approaches and values, and as a forum for their perceptions and statements to intersect. The series also regularly features a special performance of a work by Japan’s leading contemporary composer Akira Miyoshi (1933-2013), with the aim of bringing his music to a wider audience.
