Love, Peace & Music Festival

  • Organization : Love, Peace & Music festival executive committee
  • Section : Symbolic Projects Setting the Flag of Tokyo Tokyo FESTIVAL
  • Type of Grant Program : Single

Outline

As well as aiming to deliver “emotional inclusivity” in a music event that all sorts of people can enjoy together, this festival is an attempt at a “crossover” event that transcends boundaries of generation and genre.
Organizers are confident the spectacle of the festival and the power of music will communicate “hopes and dreams” and “emotion” to the audience and anyone involved. In a world of never-ending conflict and strife, this event will send out “peaceful passion” from the Japanese capital Tokyo in a barrier-free declaration to the whole world, and a message of love and peace that will live on after 2020.
The program, comprising civic groups selected through an open call, disabled groups and major artists, represents a string of connections like a string of beads, set to stay connected after 2020. The right people have been allocated to the right place whether professional or amateur, even in terms of the festival’s operational staff. This will be a heart-warming event that will generate a chain of smiles and emotion.
