The Nanaomidori Elementary School Chorus Group won first prize (elementary school category) for the seventh year running in the The NHK All-Japan School Choir Competition held on October 13.In cooperation with The Nanaomidori Elementary School Chorus Group, we are giving a mini concert as a platform for the group to publicly announce its gold-winning achievement, and also to provide the public with an opportunity to hear their singing voices. The roughly 75-minute mini concert will include a rendition of the NHK All-Japan School Choir Competition set piece “Watashi wa koneko” (“I am a kitten”) and a song of the group’s own choice, “Beguru to sakamichi” (“Bagels and a hilly road”).
