Outline

This project is a new initiative under Shozan Hasegawa’s overdubbing project “All Shozan.” He commissions an up-and-coming composer to create a shakuhachi ensemble piece and performs it using the technique of overdubbing.
It goes without saying that Shozan Hasegawa is in charge of playing all the songs and all the parts, but it is worth noting that he is also responsible for various elements related to the sound such as recording and editing.
This is a project that posits a new form for the creation and performance of shakuhachi ensemble works.
