Outline

This project is a two-person exhibition by Takayoshi Ohara and Ryu Furusawa. In the context of the normalization of digital media environments and the proliferation of XR (cross-reality) technologies in contemporary life, the boundary between reality and fiction has become increasingly ambiguous both physically and conceptually, as media becomes more transparent. This has emerged as a clear contemporary issue. The exhibition focuses on the fundamental elements that separate reality and fiction: “parallax” and “flatness,” and explores the duality of reality through both physical and virtual space. It presents the potential of aura in replicative art made possible by the expansion of contemporary consciousness.
