Taking as its motif the short story collection “Billedbog uden Billeder” (“A Picture Book Without Pictures”) by the children’s story writer Hans Christian Andersen, the contemporary dance performance “MOON AND A YOUNG MAN” is a dance work portraying characters who are both kind and full of sorrow.

Kazuki Ishihara
Began ballet at the age of four at Avec Grace Ballet. From 2013 he studied under Yasuyuki Shuto and Megumi Nakamura at The Tokyo Ballet School. After graduating he concentrated on contemporary dance, and to date has appeared in works by Ryu Suzuki, Kenta Kojiri, Yasuyuki Endo, and others. Ishihara is currently involved in creative activities as a member of the artistic team at Choreographic Center of Japan (CCJ).
