Mizuki Taka
Dancer/choreographer. She gained a Master of Dance expression and ethology from Ochanomizu University. As a child she performed in the Japanese production of “The Trojan Woman” by LaMaMa from New York. Since then, her professional expression has taken the form of stage work, musicals, video, and outdoor performances. She won the Encouragement Prize at the 2018 Yokohama Dance Collection Competition II, the Audience Award in the 2020 Dance ga mitai! Newcomer Series, and the Grand Prize at the SAI Dance Festival in 2022. In 2022 Taka organized the bimonthly collaborative creation project “Why Don’t You Dance?”
