A new work by Yo Nakamura. The structure was inspired by words starting with the letter f in famous quotes from Shakespeare’s play “Macbeth.”Nakamura’s “Macbeth”presented the audience with a version that vacillated between the “language of the text” and the “language of the body.”
In addition to the talented young dancers Ikegami Takkun and Sato Yamada, five ensemble members created an extended group dance, the first of its kind in a Yo Nakamura work. The ensuing dance performance built around the letter f left stunned audiences both excited and moved.
