Profile

Fuse Sakuhiko
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduating he worked as a freelance double bass player, but the coronavirus pandemic brought all performance work to a standstill, and he began writing music criticism. He made his debut as a critic by winning the Encouragement Prize in the 7th Minao Shibata Memorial Award for Musical Criticism for the topical commentary “Music has Attitude.” Fuse subsequently began planning and producing performances in response to his own criticism and has given a number of independent performances.
