In order to cultivate the performance potential of the double bass in solo and chamber music, KONDORA Base of Arts is organizing a concert focusing on contemporary works for double bass and piano, with an open call for the works. It will also put together material on normal and special playing techniques for solo double bass and provide applicants with information about performance. An open call will help establish a track record of performed works for the young composers and students involved, providing opportunities that will spur their activities going forward.
