Following their successful debut concert in 2022, the ensemble continued their focus on Bohemian Baroque music in the 17th century. Especially for this concert, the ensemble shed light on the music from the The Kroměříž Castle in Czech Republic. From the enormous numbers of manuscripts in its library, the selected pieces for various instrumentations were performed, including the Bertali’s sonata for four natural trumpets, strings (baroque violins, viola, viola da gamba, violone), baroque harp and organ, Biber’s dance suits (balletti) for strings, Froberger’s toccata and ricercare for solo harp and harp & organ duo. The ensemble welcomed special guest singer Yusuke Watanabe (bass member of Bach Collegium Japan) for Biber’s ‘Night-watch’s Serenade’.
