Hideo Ichikawa is a piano virtuoso active since the 1960s; Akiyoshi Shimizu is a double bass player and composer; saxophonist Shinobu Ishizaki is a close friend of Ichikawa’s; and drummer/tabla player Ko Omura was selected
to participate in the Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists sponsored by the Japanese government Agency for Cultural Affairs in 2015.
In coming together and creating new music by leveraging their respective core strengths, the four produce a home for contemporary music from Tokyo which connects the past and the future and provide audiences the world over with high quality video and recorded works.
Yasuharu Hoshino
Musician/translator/videographer/producer, graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. In 2022 he founded his own music and video label, Wonder and Serenity Records. He engages in a variety of projects themed around musical richness.
