A festival of electronic music and digital art,「MUTEK.JP 2023 Edition 8」was held at a venue in Shibuya, Tokyo, from December 7 to 10, 2023. 39 artists from Japan and abroad participated the festival and performed audiovisual live showcase at Spotify O-EAST for three days. In addition, two-day conference program including talk events, hands-on exhibitions, and workshops on the latest technologies such as XR, AI, and Web3 was held at Shibuya Stream Hall. Including related all events, the event boasts of attracting about 4,000 visitors. MUTEK.JP was held for the 8th time in Japan, touching on the future of media art.
