A night of opera which extensively explored how the musical language of past composers are leveraged, as well as the possibilities for operatic expression in Japanese. Part 1 featured famous pieces from the tradition of Japanese opera and operatic songs to date, while Part 2 showcased a newly created opera based on the Noh play Aoi-no-ue.
