“Children’s Town Tama(co-tama)” is a small virtual “town” created by children in Tama City. There are jobs in co-tama, such as factory, shops, and government offices, and when you work, you receive co-tama currency. You can freely use it to shop or play at the game corner.
For children, there is no difference between work and play. Children break away from the fixed values of adults, think and act in their own way, and create rules for the operation of the town through dialogue with each other. Through such simulated social experiences, it is an effort to express the spontaneous learning process of actively participating in the “town” as art.
