With the boundary between people as an important point of view, HIGASHIYAMA researches and collects episodes of unconscious and conscious actions (attachment and religious beliefs) that protect one’s mind, from myths and other fictions to personal stories, and creates a series of two-dimensional works on the theme of these stories. By depicting these stories of defense, she will recognize various personal stories and share the history and subjective experience of psychological defense regulations.
