A fictional fantasy work, this is a Japanese-Taiwanese collaboration based on the historical fact that overseas Taiwanese made a major contribution to the promotion and advancement of post-war Kabukicho.

Profile

Asianrib
A theatrical unit launched in January 2017, and led by Yamazaki Rieko, who has worked in theater in Beijing since the 1990s. Under the motto “connecting Asia through theater,” AsianRib serves as a platform promoting artistic collaboration among Asian countries. It became a general incorporated association in April 2022. Following a stint of performing Asian plays in translation, the unit currently works on creating original stage pieces from the perspective of “Japan within Asia.”
