Vacant premises right in front of the station transform into a two-day wonderland!

It is usually an empty commercial space nobody enters, where there alone time seems to have stopped.
Together with guest artist YORIKO we transform this space into a huge playground for 2 days only.
Themed on the vacant lots of yesteryear, there will be all sorts of amusements to delight everyone from adults to children, including a traditional fair, kami-shibai “paper theater” storytelling and a circus tent. Bring your family and friends to experience this extraordinary space in front of the station for a limited two-day period.

*The detailed timetable of the event will be announced later on the official website.

Guest artist

YORIKO
Graduated from Kuwasawa Design School and Central Saint Martins UAL in London. As well as her current work in graphic design and scenography, she has community art projects under development in various regions. For the Nakanojo Biennale in 2015 she created a mobile onsen manju stall which was taken around the site during the event (onsen manju is a hot spring resort specialty of sweet buns traditionally steamed in the thermal waters).
