Participants will be able to experience Edo-style hand-painting for paper lanterns and Edo Sudare coaster workshop at MOSHI MOSHI BOX, Harajuku Information Center.

Edo-style Hand Painted Paper Lanterns

You will make Edo-style Hand-painted lantern creating a design in pencil on the lantern itself and using acrylic paint to fill in the design. You can take the lantern home with you.

Edo Sudare Coaster Workshop

Based on skills handed down for nearly 300 years since the Edo period, this workshop gives you the opportunity to create a superb-quality Edo Sudare (Edo-style bamboo lattice) coaster in a design that matches the modern lifestyle. You can take the coaster home with you.
