"Onokoraa" Festival 2016

Genre:
  • Art Project

The enterprising “Onokoraa” folks are holding a festival!

“Onokoraa” are the people involved in the Toshima Art Station Koso program who come up with their own, independent “art stations” (small bases for creating art), and “get the ball rolling” (as their name suggests in Japanese) towards what they want to do.
Diverse people with a range of ages and interests participate and generate projects. Individual initiatives may be modest, but this festival shows how the “Onokoraa” can come to grips with their respective projects through trial and error, and present an integrated program in a place they have a connection with.
