EAT&ART TARO, who in his works tries to create new connections through food, will transform Toshima Art Station Z into a cooking studio (cooking atelier), and reveal culinary works that are just a little bit different. We would like everyone who comes to encounter a new experience in cuisine. Video footage of the cooking will be uploaded to the project site below, so please have a look at it.
Statement from EAT&ART TARO
Different cooking videos have been uploaded to the internet recently, and it’s gotten easier to see the process of cooking. I’m always making different kinds of food, and the process of cooking makes the food all the more interesting, so for this project I’d like to record cooking of this kind on video. The venue, Toshima Art Station Z, used to be a coffee shop, and so it has, for an art space, a very large professional kitchen. Beyond interesting food, I’d also like to show a kitchen as a unique art space.
