Toshima Art Station Y is envisioned as an “a little place where art is made,” where invited artists will stay and create in the ambience of a “neighborhood lounge”, a place where different people can gather. This year Toshima Art Station Y will be established in the Yamadaso, a building of small apartments, in cooperation with the creative team Yamamoto Yamada, whose “Yamadaso Project” is centered on the building’s Kami-Ikebukuro district. An open house Dec 6 (Sat) and 7 (Sun) will unveil Toshima Art Station Y, while Yamamoto Yamada conduct a walking tour through the area and talk to visitors about the projects about to get under way. We hope to see you there.

A Yamamoto Yamada garage sale will accompany the open house.

*Toshima Art Station Y is open to viewing between 11:00 and 16:00.
*Assemble for the walking tour at Toshima Art Station Y ten minutes before departure. (No reservations required)
*Both the walking tour and the garage sale may be canceled in the case of inclement weather.
*Both walking tours will cover the same course.
