Become a MuseumTuber – post online videos of strange and interesting things you discover at Ueno Park’s museums!

A five-session program with filmmaker Yasuhiro Moriuchi as instructor. Using Ueno Park as a base, participants go out to the museums, encountering artworks, people, and wonderful things, and then communicate the appeal of the museums in video form. Together with “Art Communicators,” participants will hone their ability to look at things with a creative eye.

Seeking MuseumTubers!

“MuseumTuber” means YouTubers specializing in museums who convey to the world the appeal of Ueno Park and museums in online posts.
For this Movie Club project, we are seeking members willing to undertake project activities for a year. Members will be selected on the basis of their application documents.
You don’t need to have experience making videos or going to museums. Professionals including filmmakers, curators and university professors provide solid support and guidance. Through visits to Ueno Park over the course of one year, we want you to post lots of encounters such as your favorite works, seasonal scenery, museum workers and more! We look forward to receiving your applications!
*Completed videos will be posted on websites including iUeno and YouTube.
