Fully-supported classes leveraging the museums

This learning program for schools teaching children how to enjoy the museums of Ueno Park enables a wide range of activities tailored to class goals and project objectives.

Implementation period

July 2019 – March 2020
(Dates are negotiable, weekday museum open days only. (1) and (2) exclude the third Wednesday of every month).

(1)-(3) Art appreciation program and exchange with“Art Communicators” (session length: around 90 – 120 minutes)
(4) Orientation-style program (session length: around 45 minutes)

Elementary, junior high and high schools, special needs schools
– 1-2 schools per month
– Individual clubs and classes may also apply
– Includes special needs classes

Participation fee

Free
((1) and (2) may include exhibition admission charges)

Schools within Tokyo Metropolitan area
Free for children, students and teachers in charge
(Application required. Please see here for application documents)

Schools outside Tokyo Metropolitan area
Free for elementary and junior high school students. High school students and teachers in charge may have to pay exhibition admission charges.

How to apply (For schools)

Please fill out the reservation form on the official website.

*To be decided by lottery if applications exceed capacity.
*After the deadline, if there are openings we will accept applications on a first-come-first-served basis up to one month before the desired date.
