Seeking participants for “Kuruto bonsai-nagashi” event

Genre:
  • Art Project

Let’s carry “Kuruto bonsai” made of material from around the island through the village!

“Kuruto bonsai” were created with artist Kentaro Onishi using beach flotsam and material gathered from around the island. We are going to carry the bonsai, which encapsulate the island’s landscape, around the village. As we walk around, why not take a fresh look at the island’s scenery using the bonsai as a guide to the island? We’re looking for adults and children to walk around the island together carrying the bonsai. You are also welcome to watch the procession near your house or at the roadside. Please talk to anyone you see with or carrying a bonsai.
