Seeking participants for creative workshop! Craft × Performance

This is a creative song and dance workshop in which participants discuss a new relationship between people and the wind, through an imaginary entity, “Nisshintatchi,” inspired by the ferocious seasonal “Nishinkaze” wind that blows over Kouzushima in winter. Participants will craft special art objects by putting together lots of pieces of paper with different colors and textures. They will then go out into the village and set up the objects. We will discover “Nisshintatchi” in spaces that exhibit different expressions/appearances according to the attributes of the place in question, such as on the doors of houses, around windows, in the back alleys and in the shrubbery. This will provide opportunities for interaction with others by bringing together individual stories encountered wherever we go, and turning the words into song phrases.
