On this program, we will send young arts management professionals, who will in future play a role in connecting artists and society, on short term study visits to arts festivals etc. providing opportunities to develop network with the global arts sector as a first step to working on the world stage. In addition, by offering direct contact with pioneering works from overseas and the international creative frontlines, the hope is to foster production of art works with an international perspective.

Support
-Return air ticket between Japan and destination (Economy Class)
-Expenses (local accommodation)
-Daily allowance (10,000 yen per day)
-Additionally, participants can access guidance and programmatic support; for example coordination of schedules and programs, introductions to relevant people at the destination, etc.

Overview
Program participants will be posted in time for Thailand Biennale 2023, which starts on December 9th. The theme of this year’s event is “The Open World.”
Set in an ancient city with a diverse culture and rich history, the event offers an opportunity to engage in global issues through art, and to network with art professionals from around the world attending the Biennale. We are also planning an observation tour of Bangkok.
