A community space for greenery and interaction, created by locals
We want places where local people can connect with each other in a relaxed way.
However, it’s hard to find opportunities for new connections in the community.
So here at ACKT we’ve decided to create a place that functions like a traditional
‘engawa’ veranda in the neighborhood, where people can interact with ease.
We will create green spaces and connections between people,
Using the park as a hub for interaction and exchange.
A community space for greenery and interaction, created by locals:
The shape of parks to come.
-This is a program in which participants use their own hands to transform the green space Yahoekiminamiguchi Ryokuchi in front of Yaho station’s south exit.
-Once or twice a month, participants will tend to this green space and engage in gardening together with a professional garden designer.
-ACKT’s activity base Saeki Yohin Ten will be used as a rest area.
GREEN GREETINGS is a program in which participants join us in thinking about ways to use green spaces.
Please tell us what kind of place you would like it to be, while we tend to the green space together.
