We present real-deal classical music performances by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra with top-level soloists and other co-performers. We also offer a fun experience program allowing diverse people to feel close to the orchestra; for example children who have never played a musical instrument, or adults unfamiliar with classical concerts. Experiences offered with performances include the “Musical Instrument Experience” and “Conductor Experience Corner” in which participants get to conduct the orchestra.

Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra – dubbed the “musical ambassador of Japan’s capital Tokyo” – will present ensemble concerts with audience participation at various locations in the Tama area and Tokyo’s offshore islands. This program aims to provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to become more familiar with classical music, as well as to build excitement around the Cultural Olympiad aspects of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Admission to all performances is free of charge and reservations are not required.
