We will be presenting bona fide classical music performances by Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, dubbed “the musical ambassador” of the capital. We also offer a fun experience program allowing diverse people to feel closer to the performances; for example, children who have never played a musical instrument, or adults unfamiliar with classical concerts. In order to foster a sense of excitement around the Cultural Program aspects of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as to pass on that memory to the next generation after the tournament, we will be holding free orchestral performances in the Tama area.

Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra – dubbed “the musical ambassador” of the capital – will be presenting ensemble concerts with audience participation at various locations in the Tama area and Tokyo’s offshore islands. This program aims to provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to develop greater familiarity with classical music, as well as fostering a sense of excitement around the Cultural Olympiad aspects of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and passing on that memory to the next generation after the tournament.
All performances are free to attend, and no reservation is necessary.
