What we do

HAPPY TURN/Kouzushima

Set in Kouzushima village, a place where a rich natural environment, myths and legends, and a unique culture linger on, this project is designed to encourage people to feel attached to island life and relate to the island as their own. We explore pointers on how to live our lives going forward, on the basis that a “happy turn” is the catalyst for the changes we make for ourselves through encounters with new values and discoveries. The project connects not only people who have always lived on the island, but also migrants, sightseers, and those who have moved away from the island, and provides an opportunity to learn about each other’s perspectives and cultures.
