Through fieldwork focused on questions of diversity and division among people in society and dialogue inspired by reports on those studies, participants in this program will examine diversion as a survival technique. They will explore the relationship between art and those who teeter on the dividing lines between a variety of backgrounds — disability, care, labor, housing, gender, sexuality, and nationality — thereby re-examining the boundaries of art itself.
