Kakuya Ohashi and Dancers are at the cutting edge of Japanese contemporary dance. Their first new production at the Theatre Tram since their 2010 The Rite of Spring will be a dance adaptation of famous science fiction author Hirotaka Tobi’s “Les Grandes Vacances: The Angels in the Forgotten Garden I.” At a time when the value of art is being questioned like never before, the fantastic power of science fiction will call us to question what it truly means to be human.
