Outline

A concert in which works from the Late Baroque repertoire were performed alongside arrangements of Beatles songs by the 20th century composer Luciano Berio. Held at a Noh theater, this performance blending early Western music, pop music and contemporary music resembled a scramble crosswalk. Performers comprised young musicians in their late twenties/early thirties who are active both in Japan and overseas.

Profile

Collegium Space 415
An ensemble established in June 2022, principally made up of young early music performers who regularly use the early music rehearsal studio Space415. Performers who work in Japan and overseas are regularly brought together with the aim of offering high level musical performance. The group’s objective is to revive early music for the present day, promote and raise public awareness of it.
