“Dramatic funeral” is the second instalment of the theater showcase series “Dramatic,” staged in a selection of bars.
The group’s philosophy is to provide approachable theater without the need for familiarity with the stage, through productions by theater companies that present a new perspective. It also believes that with the ongoing impact of coronavirus, the risks involved in challenges driven by new values are also increasing. The group estimates the cost of experimentation to be extremely high, especially for theater groups in the early stages of developing their career. In this project, Dramatic secretariat puts forward a method of creation that reduces the burden on groups, albeit on a small scale, and provides an opportunity for experimentation. At the same time, the group promotes appreciation and affinity for the performing arts in Mitaka City. In this way it takes charge of organizing performances and holding them in a form that supports theater groups’ commitment to creation.
Following on from the previous production “Dramatic lastnight,” another crack performance team has been brought together.
