A performance of two pieces, the Kyogen “Hanago” and the Noh “Sumidagawa.”
Noh and Kyogen alike were connected by a program focusing on the character “Hanago,” with differences in the expression and staging of each aimed at reaffirming their appeal.
In addition, at the start of the performance, the performers themselves introduced highlights so the audience could understand and appreciate the performance in more depth, allowing a wide range of audiences from beginners to enthusiasts to enjoy the performance.

Nohgaku-Dandyism Jikkouiinkai
A Noh unit comprising four actors, shitekata Sakuma Jiro, wakikata Noguchi Yasuhiro, kyogenkata Okura Noriyoshi, and hayashikata Tsukuda Yoshitaro.By assembling a team made up of Noh professionals, the appeal of Noh can be made fully known from a neutral point of view. In addition to its stage activities, the group proactively communicates information about Noh via YouTube and social media.
