Paint a picture using nail polish collected in Poland and Japan

Based on an idea by artist Martyna Ścibior, participants will paint a simple grid-patterned abstract picture using nail polish collected in Poland and Japan.
No artistic skills are necessary to create the design specified by the artist. Anyone can do it. What is important is the time for self-reflection generated in the painting process, and the search for meaning in the abstract patterns when the painting is finished. The finished work will also act as a record of participants’ encounters.

*The painting will be shown at the Hi-Blood Pressure Exhibition (July 1- 17, 2017).
