This year JR East’s railway station music event series “Station Live” departs from the station for the first time. JR Yamanote Line trains will be “wrapped” in special imagery for a period of two weeks to commemorate Japan Railway’s 30th anniversary. On Saturday, November 11, 2017, one of these trains will be reserved for the “Machinaka Concert x Station Live in a Special Train on the Yamanote Line,” a collaborative project with the superb classical concert hall Tokyo Bunka Kaikan.
Of those who apply for this reserved concert train, 400 people will be selected by drawing to attend free of charge as invited participants.
