This May, a venue located just three minutes on foot from the north exit of Hachioji Station became the birthplace of AKITEN BASE CAMP: a place where people looking to enhance the allure of the community through AKITEN can interact and share ideas.
AKITEN BASE CAMP draws on past AKITEN projects to offer the AKITEN creation seminar—a series of workshops that give help participants develop the skills they need to run community-building projects.
The workshop sessions cover a wide array of topics, ranging from project management, facilitation, and presentation all the way to specific skills like photography, design, online content, and video. With AKITEN project members and affiliates serving as instructors and sharing their expertise with seminar participants, AKITEN BASE CAMP educates and unites people who want to spark community-building action.
If you want to know more about what AKITEN does, this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
