Creating Memorial Rebirth together

Known as Memorial Rebirth Senju, this art performance by artist Shinji Ohmaki transforms familiar places and scenes with airy soap bubbles.
Since starting in 2012, the project has gone around Adachi-ku like a relay baton, taking place every year in different locations such as elementary schools and parks.
The core of Memorial Rebirth is Ohmaki Denki K.K., a team of citizens who look after and operate the soap bubble machines.
These local dads, moms and students are active in creating new person-to-person connections and links between people and their community.
In the run-up to the spring 2020 large-scale Memorial Rebirth event, we’re seeking new members for the team.
Team members include people who like electronics, people interested in the behind-the-scenes aspect of art projects, and people who wanted to bring a smile to the faces of children and the wider community. Why not help create Memorial Rebirth together with the team’s diverse people whom you wouldn’t normally encounter in daily life?
