Get ready to convey your feelings to friends, family, teachers, colleagues etc. over the Christmas and New Year periods.
In this Risograph (RISO) workshop, you will be able to make two types of cards: Christmas cards and Nengajo New Year cards. You can make one of each, or two of either.
In addition to the usable implements and collage materials to be supplied by Fan Fan, you are free to bring in your own implements and materials and spend time making whatever you want.
During the busy December season, this workshop should provide a welcome breather and time to chat while engaging in handicraft making.

Equipment/tools you can use:paper, colored pencils, markers, pens, colored paper, scissors, box cutters, glue, masking tape, and a Risograph.

Other
-The cards will be postcard size.
-You can choose two out of five colors of ink (black, red, blue, green, yellow)
-You can take home up to 20 Risograph printed sheets. Please note we will keep one copy at Fantasia! Fantasia! Office.
-You can choose from several types of paper available at the event.
-You may also bring in pre-prepared material such as hand-drawn illustrations, photographs, and digital data you want to print out.
-We would appreciate it if you could give us newspapers, magazines, flyers etc. that are no longer needed which we can use as material.

Fan Fan director and curator Akira Aoki is currently at university studying for a social welfare qualification. In addition to working on day-to-day matters related to his university course, Aoki will be presenting Fan Fan research exploring the connections between community welfare and art, in the form of a “study room.” Please stop by to enjoy getting your head down for some study or sharing a leisurely exchange of opinion on welfare and art.
