TERATOTERA, a project that organizes a diverse mix of art projects along the JR Chuo Line, presents the TERATOTERA SOUND FES—a two-day celebration of music amidst the historical buildings at the Edo-Tokyo Open-Air Architectural Museum in Koganei Park.
The event will play host to four musical acts. The first day of music will feature sets from Michiyo Yagi and Tetsu Saitoh, who explore new directions through solo improvisational performances. Taking the stage on the second day of the festival will be seven baritone sax players from the group Tokyo-chutei-iki and an ensemble called Torus Vil., two unique, cohesive units of pure instrumental power. As the sounds of the Bon festival dance ring through the air, stirring up memories of years gone by, eventgoers will get to experience captivating musical soundscapes against the timeless backdrop of classical Japanese folk architecture.
