– Professional dancers offer free workshops for beginners, kids, seniors, and everyone in between! –

Participants in these workshops get a free taste of what professional dancers teach in actual dance school settings (stretching, rhythm training, and basic choreography). The day’s workshops feature instructors in house, hip-hop, pop, lock, and other genres, giving participants the chance to experience a wide variety of dance styles.

This full-participation program, geared toward kids (middle-school age and younger) and seniors (individuals aged 60 or older), is more of an “experience” than a formal “lesson.” Opening up the dance floor to all the participants, the workshops encourage people to express themselves freely without worrying about what anyone might think. Professional dancers lead the way with different steps, showing the kids and seniors patterns that they can emulate as the music plays.
