Open Forum 2020 “Expanding the City Space and Time with Arts and Culture” to Be Held on Thursday, Feb 6, 2020
Arts Council Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture) will be hosting a forum to discuss the current and important themes in the field of arts and culture. At this year’s event, we will be focusing on how art and culture can expand the city’s space and time.
Tokyo Metropolitan Government aims to bring the city’s potential attractiveness to life with the power of arts and culture and create a festive atmosphere throughout the city leading up to Tokyo 2020. As a part of that legacy, efforts center around enhancing innovative use of the urban space for the cultural programs intending to reveal more of the city’s undiscovered charms. Likewise, cultural events which offer new ways to utilize time such as Nighttime Economy will generate additional urban appeal.
